My guiding virtue is that anyone who desires to heal deserves to heal. Good health and happiness are everyone’s right, as are lives filled with love and joy. While each treatment is unique to the needs and personality of a client, every session I offer comes from love, compassion, and a genuine enthusiasm for life. If someone is looking to heal, I want to be there for them.
Certifications and Training
In September 2017, I earned my certification in hypnotherapy at the Institute of Hypnotherapy in Edison, NJ and opened A HypnoCenter For Healing in Tinton Falls, NJ the following month and I have offered treatment as a hypnocounselor there since. I’m also a registered member of the International Hypnosis Federation where I’m able to stay up to date on advancements in the field.
I’m a member of the Reiki Healing Association where I received training and attunements in the Dr. Usui System of Natural Healing Reiki Level 1 & 2 from Sophia Hansen of the Integrative Wellness Institute in Pasadena, CA the summer of 2016. I have been practicing in person and remote Reiki healings ever since.
I included Reiki in my healing practice at A HypnoCenter For Healing, in Tinton Falls, NJ upon its opening.
I went on to receive Master level training and attunement from a certified White Light Reiki Master in June of 2018 and have since provided training and attunements at A HypnoCenter For Healing.
After being asked to officiate a friend’s wedding, I became an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church in July 2018. I believe anyone who wishes to be joined in a union of love deserves to be and I take great pride in facilitating the ceremony of their union.
My intuition has always best suited me as a healer and I consider it a privilege and joy to offer spiritual guidance to anyone looking for it.
My journey of healing with Hypnotherapy
When I started my training in hypnotherapy, I had been symptomatic with (what is now known as) fibromyalgia for 31 years. I felt hopeless as the number of disorders and symptoms that stemmed from my fibromyalgia were almost too many to list. The most chronic and painful were the debilitating migraines and muscle spasms to the point of muscle dystonia.
Part of that feeling of hopelessness was from the many different treatments and therapies I sought that brought with them little to no results. If any improvements were made, they were temporary, costly, and somehow always missing the root cause.
While originally drawn to studying hypnotherapy for its benefits to mental health, I discovered that I could receive it as treatment for my pain and other symptoms associated with fibromyalgia. My first session was on June 29th, 2017. The results were apparent immediately. When I went in to see my regular orthopedic doctor who I had been working with for years he took one look at me, said I looked great, and asked “what did you do?”.
With the guidance of my orthopedic doctor, I discontinued many of the medications I was prescribed and significantly reduced the dosage of others. I could not believe that I was able to discontinue the treatments for my chronic migraines that I sought every three months just to be able to function.
As with any treatment, the results speak for themselves. That same orthopedic doctor now recommends his patients see me for hypnotherapy as part of their pain management. I’ve been committed to the practice ever since.
